8th Grade Prom Experience at Roma View

One June 6th, 2013, I had my 8th grade prom at Roma View Catering in Howard Beach.

It's a pretty small place from the outside, but on the inside the venues are gorgeous, and the food was amazing. It wasn't my first time there, I want there for a friends bar mitzvah once earlier in the year so it brought back old- weird memories.
So, my prom dress was a Sherri Hill dress. I got it at prom outfitters in Flatbush ave which is an AMAZING store. Its a looks and is a pretty small store but on the inside it is packed with beautiful name brand dresses.

It took me a long time to find the right dress, thank god the lady there was patient and help me throughout the whole entire process even though there were 50 other girls there trying on dresses. I tried on a lot of dresses but kept coming back and thinking about the same dress i first tried on and couldn't think of any other dress but that one.
The dress was on sale for $450 but that was wayyyy over my budget so they lowered it to $400 (which was still over budget but it was a Sherri Hill dress soo...yeah)

^  It was a lot shorter than that

Anyways prom was from 1 to 5 (which was soo not far that it was that early) and I got my hair and makeup done professionally.
I had a really great time at prom and it was a really awakening experience knowing that the friends that are always there for me will soon be leaving me and I will be all by myself which is extremely scary for anyone.
The DJ was amazing, the food was amazing and so was the experience. I will always remember prom and never regret going, Being surrounded by the whole entire 8th grade makes me realize how much I am gonna miss being at my school (my comfort zone). Even though I've been through hell and back in that school, it still made me who i am today, but a bird can't stay in its nest forever.

Moving on, is a simple thing, what it leaves behind is hard.....
